The service provides support to children and young people who have been a victim of child sexual abuse and their non-offending families and carer who are GP registered within the catchment areas of Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton, Croydon and Wandsworth and meet the criteria for referral. The service includes:
Wellbeing Advocacy - provision of a safe space to a child or young person to talk to a Wellbeing advocate about how they are feeling following disclosure. Up to 5 one-to-one support sessions are offered in a place of a child young person's preference.
Health care - holisitc medical assessment of health needs, sexual health screening and top-to-toe examination in a friendly and welcoming environment
Trauma-focussed therapeutic support - offered in collaboration with Rape Crisis South London (RASASC) offering speciaist for children and young people, support for carers
Criminal Justice Care - provision of practical support and guidance by Child and Young Person's Sexual Violence Advocate to children and young people with an ongoing police investigation.
